ACTERA GROUP OFFICE BUILDING

The project is the construction of administration and office building belonging to ACTERA GROUP STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT SERVICES Co.  The building was constructed in place of two adjacent old buildings formerly; one wooden and the other masonry.   The foundation of both buildings were constructed over 42 mini piles because of the alluvial ground having high soil liquefaction risk, on a location at the GOKSU River side in Beykoz, İstanbul.  The design of the geotechnical reinforcement and the upper structures were conducted by our company.

The architectural design was by NEVZAT SAYIN Architectural Services, synthesizing the characteristics of the street, the river and the environment.   All the structural and retrofitting design and special architectural aspects of design were realized into application by our company. 

The project started in January 2005 and was completed in September 2006. The survey cost was 830,000.USD.

The Building stands on an arch of an exact circle at a 67 mt-diameter along the street side.  Due to the geometry of the building, the roof is parabolic and there’s no constant slope. 

All details given by the architectural design were studied and applied in-situ by custom manufacturing.
